The National Society of Collegiate Scholars (NSCS) is a highly selective, national, non-profit honors organization. Founded in 1994, NSCS recognizes first and second year undergraduate students who excel academically.
The Society was established on the principle that with scholarship comes a responsibility to develop leadership and a duty to perform service.
In addition to his membership in The National Society of Collegiate Scholars, Shelby was named to Clemson University’s College of Engineering and Science Dean’s List for the Fall 2001 and Spring 2002 semesters and he is a member of Alpha Lambda Delta, a National Academic Honor Society for Freshmen. Shelby is also a member of the Calhoun Honors College at Clemson and is a graduate of The O’Neal School.
