Gardner-Webb Announces Honors Lists

Gardner-Webb University announces that five students from the Moore county area have received academic achievement recognition.

Susanna Simpson, Connie Harris, and Kimberly Boulton receive acknowledgement for the National Dean’s List; Johnel Stanford and Joseph Scotton receive acknowledgement for the Honor Roll.

A student must earn a (grade point average of 3.7 or above to be included on the Dean’s List.

The Honor Roll is reserved for those students with a GPA between 3.2 and 3.7.

The National Dean’s List was established in 1978 as a way to recognize excellent academic achievement in college students. There are 2,500 colleges and universities represented by the 245,000 students on the Dean’s List this year.

Located in Boiling Springs, Gardner-Webb University is home to nearly 4,000 students from 30 states and 30 foreign countries.
