Kuhn, Morris Merge Two Dental Practices
On January 3, the dental practices of Dr. David Kuhn of Aberdeen and Dr. Walter Morris of Pinehurst merged into one office as Kuhn Dental Associates. Both doctors will see current and new patients at Kuhn’s Aberdeen dental location, which has been newly expanded. In this location, Kuhn and Morris will provide comprehensive care as a unified team. The space allows both doctors to continue exceptional dentistry in a spacious environment using the latest in technology and comfort. “By joining together, we are able to increase the availability of comprehensive dental care,” Kuhn said. Treatment suites are equipped with IntraOral cameras and computer monitors for improved patient education and participation. Laser dentistry has been added, which causes no bleeding, reduces numbing requirements, and contours or repairs gum tissue with precision and speed. Additional technology inclu-des voice-activated computerized charting and CEREC III for single-visit crowns. After receiving his doctorate of medical dentistry from the University of Kentucky, Kuhn began private practice in Sanford and expanded to Aberdeen in 1987, where he eventually began practicing full time. He is a graduate of the LVI Institute for Advanced Dental Studies, a diplomat of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists and fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry. Memberships include the American Dental Association and Dental Implant Associates of North Carolina. Morris completed undergraduate education at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and received his dental degree from the UNC School of Dentistry, where he served on staff before entering private practice in Southern Pines. Morris regularly pursues continuing education and is a member of the Sandhills Dental Study Club, American Dental Association and North Carolina Dental Society. Kuhn and Morris will provide comprehensive adult dental care, including esthetic, implant, restorative and general dentistry as well as gum therapy and endodontics (root canals). New patients are welcome. |
