Senator John Edwards promises to change what he refers to as “two Americas” of have and have-nots. What he is proposing is comparable to the Russian Revolution as portrayed in the movie “Dr. Zhivago,” wherein the houses of the rich were confiscated and divided into numerous sparse living areas.

How would the senator like to share his multi-million-dollar homes with six or eight poor families, drug addicts, and alcoholics? He’s worked hard to achieve his success, but perhaps he should give his $50 million to the less fortunate.

Is this the senator’s vision of one America where we are all in one class? We don’t want that America!
