PES Honors Veterans with Assembly
Pinehurst Elementary held a special All-School Assembly to honor three local veterans as well as all veterans past and present.
The three veterans honored were Bob McWade, a Navy veteran who served in the Korean War; James Rochelle Small, an Army veteran who served in World War II; and Donald J. Goulet, a Vietnam veteran.
The Pinecrest High School ROTC presented the colors which was followed by a program focusing on veterans, freedom and gratitude.
Students read personal essays and poetry, performed a skit, and sang songs. |
