Insurance Luncheon Also Planned
Craig Stokes, an investment representative with Edward Jones, will host a free luncheon seminar on the benefits of long-term care insurance. According to the Health Insurance Association of America, more than 50 percent of Americans are expected to need some form of long-term care, either home care or institutional care, at some point in their lives. Now is the time to start helping protect yourself and your loved ones, Stokes said. The event will be held Wednesday, Feb. 22, at Aqua Seafood Restaurant in Southern Pines from 11:45 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. The public is invited to attend.
