Response to letter titled “Unneeded Advice” (Feb. 2), which was a response to my earlier letter:

It’s clear that some people just don’t get it. If anyone’s noticed, we have gotten colder ever since the big snow four years ago, and we were just recovering right about now when that thing happened. The writer doesn’t recognize the welcome blessing that we have received this winter with the obvious fact that all we have had is some close calls and lots of cold wind that cut through us like butter.

The only thing that I was trying to do is point out some obvious advice that everyone should take heed of. Just think, things could be a whole lot worse off than they are right now. (Oops, looks like six more weeks of potential wintry mayhem!)
