Registration is from 9 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. at O’Donnell’s. Participants can register in advance online at www.moorebuddies.com, or by calling Patti Jilson or Warren McSweeney at 693-1789.
The registration fee is $30 and all proceeds benefit Moore Buddies Inc., a private nonprofit agency in Moore County working directly with the county’s juvenile court system to provide support for troubled youths.
Moore Buddies offers programs to youths between the ages of 7 and 17, such as the Governor’s One-On-One Volunteer Program that matches kids with adult volunteer mentors who give their time to a youth for one year.
The agency also offers classes for substance abuse, anger management, tutoring and community service activities.
