Dollar Tree Stores Inc. of Chesapeake has received six reports of their Luminessence’ candles producing excessive flames or igniting, the Consumer Product Safety Commission said Tuesday.

In three cases, consumers suffered minor injuries, and another three instances resulted in minor property damage.

The recalled candles were sold in packages containing eight 1-inch-tall tea light candles and one glass holder in the shape of a flower.

The candles are either gold or silver.
