The Writers’ Workshop is sponsoring a “Words of Love” writing contest. First prize is $500; second prize is $350 and third prize is $250. Ten honorable mentions will be given.

Send in a love letter or story of 8,000 words or less. Winners will be chosen for originality and creativity of their work.

All entries must be postmarked no later than midnight, March 30.

All work must be unpublished. Your name, address, and phone should appear on cover sheet, with story title.

Enclose a self-addressed stamped envelope for critique and list of winners, and the reading fee of $15 per entry (check or money order, made payable to Writers’ Contest).

The limit to the number of entries is eight.

Be sure to double-space; use 12-point font size; paperclip you work, don’t staple. Do not FedEx, UPS or use Certified Mail.
