Man Struck And Killed

An Aberdeen man was struck and killed by a car Sunday night as he was riding north on May Street on a mo-ped, according to a report from the State Highway Patrol.

Steven Richard Rivers, 44, was killed in the accident just outside of Southern Pines. The accident happened around 7 p.m. No other details were available.
