Dr. W.K. Kilpatrick, gynecologist at the clinic, spoke to a group of over 40 women on the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of ovarian cancer. He reviewed risk factors for women who have previously had cancer as well as implications for women with a family history of breast and/or gynecological cancers.

He then conducted a one-hour open forum of questions and answers addressing each participant’s needs.

The Women’s Health Forum is a monthly educational program sponsored by the Women’s Care Center at the Pinehurst Surgical Clinic, providing women over 40 with the opportunity to interact with their physicians.
