You Can Tap My Phone
If the President wants to have my telephone monitored as part of the war on terrorism, he has my permission.
Isn’t that what the spy activity is all about— namely, an attempt to protect us from those who would destroy America?
Ask me if I would prefer to hear “static” on my phone or look out one day and see a mushroom-shaped cloud over Fort Bragg, and the answer will be “static” every time.
Sadly, this has the appearance of just another well-planned attempt to demonize the Bush administration, and it is starting to get old.
