Jockey Mike Luzzi rode Sir Greeley in this race and a closing fourth placed finish in the Fall Highweight on Thanksgiving Day.
According to the Daily Racing Form, Sir Greeley has shown signs of brilliance in allowance company, winning his last three starts at this level after being gelded last spring. The Fly So Free is the first stakes win for the 3-year old by Mr. Greeley.
The official race results list Sir Greeley’s effort as “with the pace from the outside well in hand, bumped in the upper stretch, then dug in resolutely when roused and was driving under the line.”
Trained by James Jerkins, Sir Greeley was co-favorite in the six horse, six furlong race.
