More recently, she chaired a program called “Operation Cookies.” She helped gather and pack over 805 boxes of cookies and treats that have been sent to military overseas.

Michael DeVito has been president of the Vass Lions Club, as well as president of the Woodlake Investment Club. The DeVitos also were instrumental in getting name plates on area mail boxes so that the fire or rescue squads can easily identify residences.
