I would like to take this opportunity to thank our village manager, Andy Wilkison. Last week I telephoned Mr. Wilkison to request his help in getting the road fixed opposite my driveway on Pinehurst No. 6.

After I left him a voicemail message, explaining a five-month sinking hole situation, he returned my long-distance call within 24 hours. Our village manager had researched the situation before returning the call and discussed a repair plan for the road. I requested a timeline for the repair work. To my delight, the road repair began just as Mr. Wilkison had committed to me.

This taxpayer appreciates the actions of our village manager, speaking much louder than words.
