AgriPlan/BizPlan is based on a little-known provision in the Internal Revenue Code, which allows qualifying self-employed business owners a one hundred percent tax deduction of family health care expenses.

Those who qualify are self-employed, have a spouse who assists with the business (even on a part-time basis) and have fewer than three employees. Family health insurance premiums as well as noninsured medical, dental and visions care expenses are 100 percent deductible on federal, state and self-employment taxes.
