Red Cross Plans ‘Romp’ at The Barn
The “Red Cross Romp,” a dinner dance benefiting programs of the Red Cross, will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 31 at The Barn Restaurant in Southern Pines.
The evening of entertainment will begin with dining, accompanied by music from Tom “Lefty” Compa.
After dinner, the dance band “Egypt” will provide music until 10 p.m. Reservations are required for dinner (7 to 8:30 p.m.) and should be made by calling 692-8571. The cost is $25 per person. Dancing reservations are only $10 can may be made in advance or at the door.
