The workshop is planned for 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the MCLC office at 175 W. New Hampshire Ave. in Southern Pines.
There is a $20 fee for materials. Participants are asked to bring a lunch. Beverages and snacks will be served.
Tutor Orientation
The MCLC will hold a tutor orientation on Wednesday, Aug. 13 and Wednesday, Aug. 20 from 1 to 3 p.m. at the office in Southern Pines.
This will prepare tutors to participate in the fall afterschool program, “Fishing for Words.”
The MCLC is a partner with the Moore County Volunteer Center/RSVP.
