12th Annual Greek Fest Is Aug. 23-25

If ethnic food, dancing and browsing through art and gift shops is a favorite pasttime, the 12th Annual Greek Fest sponsored by the Hellenic Community of Fayetteville is for you.

The site of the festival is the Charlie Rose Agri-Expo Center on the weekend of Aug. 23-25.

“Don’t miss some of the delicious, authentic Greek food prepared by some of Fayetteville’s leading chefs, as well as an opportunity to browse or purchase beautiful Greek art,” says a festival spokesman.

Dance troupes will also perform for the public during this event.

The hours are Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Sunday noon-6 p.m.

Admission is $1 at the door. Children under age 12 are admitted at no charge.

Proceeds from the Greek festival help support the American Red Cross, the Autism Society of North Carolina and the Saints Constantine and Helen Gree Orthodox Educational Building Fund.

More information may be obtained by calling (910) 484-2010.
