Local Band Hosts CD Release Party

On Aug. 18, the local band Tobacco Trailer Blues is holding the release party for their first CD, "Daddy's Record" at The Back Alley.

Formerly called Bucketheads, this club is located at 274 Gatewood Ave., Southern Pines

Performing with TTB will be two other bands, Aquarium Cats and Alibi.

Tobacco Trailer Blues has played throughout the southeast while keeping their roots in Moore County.

Admission for the CD release party is $4 for advance tickets (check Pinedene Jazz Center & the Back Alley for advanced tickets) or $8 at the door.

The TTB CD "Daddy's Record" will be available to purchase at the party for $11.

“If you can't make the show, ‘Daddy's Record’ is also available at tobaccotrailerblues.com, On Cue, Pinedene Jazz Center, Flowland Hemporium, and several convenient stores.

“We’re excited to perform in Southern Pines and get the word out about our CD,” a spokesman said about the event.
