Peach Report


Freestone peach varieties are continuing to ripen in the Sandhills, according to Roger K. Galloway, agricultural Extension agent with the Montgomery County Center, N.C. Cooperative Extension Service.

Varieties ripening this week include Big Red, September Sun, 2810, Carnival, September Snow, Fairtime, California Sweet and O’Henry.
