Mac Boorman tripled and knocked in three runs. Josh White hit safely twice and scored two runs. Noble Davis led the Royals with two hits, including a home run. Brett Hemrich was two for three, while Trevor Sipe was two for two with three RBIs. Alex Alexander and Ben Kaiser each contributed hits for the Royals.

Thomas Anderson scored four runs and Mark Holler added a pair of hits. Mac Boorman had one hit with two RBIs. M.J. Wilson helped the Orioles keep pace with two hits, including a double, and scored four runs. Weston Phillips had one hit, scored three runs and brought home a run with a sacrifice bunt. Brian Linn pitched three innings, recording six strikeouts. Dylan Campbell delivered the tying runs with a two-out single in the last inning. Jeremy Brock was two for three and pitched two innings. Matt Eddy was three for three with a double and five RBIs.
Cardinals 10, Royals 9: The Cards came out on top in a barnburner that saw the Royals put the tying and winning runs on base in the bottom of the sixth inning. Alex Wakefield scored three runs for the Royals. Dawson Fulghum and Brett Heimrich each collected two hits, with Heimrich getting three RBIs. In a total team effort, nine of the 11 Cardinal players were credited with hits. Patrick Morrison, Dylan Kelly and Brett Long each got multiple hits. Clem McKenzie and Jack Holland started the top of the sixth with singles. The game-winner was a single by Jacob Griffin that brought home two base runners. Matthew Maness pitched three strong innings for the Cards.
