Unfortunately, getting cozy and comfortable in familiar and predictable political surroundings isn’t a partisan disease — it’s an equal opportunity employer in today’s politics.
I’ve known Joe Boylan and his family since they first moved to Moore County. When our kids were young, we did Scouts together. I’ve always found him to be forthright in his opinions with a talent for listening and organization.
Hey, I’ve got nothing against Richard Morgan, other than wondering just what he’s been doing up there for the last few years. We need some new representative blood — someone with the energy and not all the political baggage in a leadership role for us. And I disagree with those who say Richard Morgan is “the man for the job.” Richard Morgan “was” the man for the job.
Let’s not confuse political skills with leadership — it’s a costly mistake.
