Nancy’s Game

Nancy’s Game meets at Oakdale Heights of Pinehurst, Fox Hollow Rd. which is just west of Turnberry Wood to the right off Morganton Road from 15-501 or a left turn right after Lawn & Tennis coming from Rt. 5. The game is ACBL sanctioned and non-smoking, with computer scoring and refreshments. A novice section will always be held if numbers allow. This game which meets Fridays at 1 p.m. at Quail Haven, is an ACBL sanctioned game restricted to 0-500 MPS, non-smoking with refreshments and computer scoring. Swiss Teams are held on the third Friday of each month.

Nancy’s Other Game

This is an open game with no masterpoint restrictions held at the Southern Pines Civic Club, corner of Pennsylvania and Ashe, Southern Pines every Wednesday afternoon with refreshments, non-smoking and computer scoring. A side section will be held for NLM with 0 – 300 pts. Two and a half tables are required for this second section. Call Nancy for partners or information. Special Notice: Starting May 5th, this game will be held at 1p.m. at Quail Haven, Lowdermilk Building, 155 Blake Blvd. Pinehurst.

Open Stratified Games

  • Monday & Wednesday at 1 p.m.

  • Tuesday at 7 p.m.

  • Thursday with Soup and Sandwich at 6 p.m., Bridge at 6:30

  • Friday at 7:30 p.m.

  • Sunday at 1:15 p.m., includes complimentary wine & cheese

    Limited Games

  • Tuesday at 1 p.m., the game is limited to players with less than 100 master points preceded by a mini lesson at 12:15

  • Friday mornings at 10 a.m., Mentor Program in which Life Masters play with new players to offer advice and help them improve their game. Participants are asked to bring a brown bag lunch. More mentors are needed for this program.

    Special Events

  • Singles Bridge every second Saturday at 7 p.m.

  • Third Saturday Swiss Teams will be held on May 15 at 7:30 p.m.

  • Silver point games (Sectional Tournament at Clubs) will be held during the week of May 3-9. All games earn extra Silver Points. On Thursday, May 6, a pasta dinner will be held at 5:30 p.m. with a Swiss team game starting at 6:30.

  • All games during the week of April 26 to May 2 will be Club Championship Games — extra points with no extra charge.

    All games are ACBL sanctioned and non-smoking. Lessons are available for all levels of play.
