It seems to me that our Moore County School Board has its own interests, since they first said they were not going to do a nationwide search and then had a meeting in which 40-some-odd people got up to speak on behalf of Dr. Larry Upchurch so that he might be considered in the search.

They did not listen to the 40-some-odd people who got up to speak for Dr. Upchurch, did they? Then, the next thing I know, they are going to hire a headhunter company so that they can do a nationwide search. Why don’t they just save the money and do something useful with the money? Like help pay back the money to the state for the Russo fiasco.

Haven’t they learned? I see a power struggle on that board which should not be there, since it is for the well being of our children’s education.
