O’Neal Golfers Win, Keep Unbeaten Record
The O’Neal School boys’ golf team defeated Greensboro Day 305-335 on a cold and rainy Tuesday afternoon at Talamore.
Improved play by John Justice, with a 76, and Jordan Hicks, with a 77, were keys to extending the Falcons’ season record to 6-0.
The winners’ Jack Ulrich took medalist honors with an even-par 72.
Russ Hepner shot an 80 to complete the Falcon team results.
Jace Standberg led the visitors with a 73.
The Falcons’ next match is Tuesday at 2 p.m. when they entertain Westchester Academy at Talamore. |
