The public hearing on a conditional use permit for a wireless telecommunications tower will be continued Thursday at the regular meeting of the Moore County Planning Board.

The board will convene at 6 p.m. in the historic courthouse in downtown Carthage.

Woolstone Corporation has requested a permit to erect a tower on the south side of Hinson Road, west of Kelly Plantation Road near Carthage.

The hearing was opened at the board’s July meeting but was continued until the Aug. 8 meeting.
