Flashing feet and jumping competitors took the field at Union Pines Saturday for the annual Union Pines Invitational track and field meet. Brandon Bauduin of Union Pines finished second in the pole vault. Six schools, including O’Neal, Union Pines and Pinecrest, sent athletes. The competition featured field events, sprints, hurdles and relay races.
